¿Quiénes pueden presentar postulaciones?

Podrán presentarse a este llamado grupos de investigación pertenecientes a instituciones nacionales, públicas o privadas sin fines de lucro, vinculadas a actividades de investigación y que deseen contratar un becario de posdoctorado.

La postulación al llamado la realiza la institución nacional de Uruguay (institución proponente) a través del Responsable de Grupo de investigación en el marco del cual se incorporará al becario posdoctoral.

El responsable del grupo de investigación deberá pertenecer al Sistema Nacional de Investigadores (SNI) en los niveles I, II o III, y contar con amplia trayectoria en formación de recursos humanos de posgrado.

¿Puedo postularme como responsable o corresponsable en más de un proyecto?

El responsable y el co -responsable del grupo de investigación podrán presentar un máximo de dos postulaciones en el llamado

¿Qué aporte debe realizar la institución proponente como contraparte y que es adicional al aporte ANII?

La institución contraparte debe realizar el aporte complementario de la beca, por un monto mensual de al menos UYU15.575 nominales.

¿El monto del aporte ANII incluye beneficios de seguridad social?

No, el monto de la beca ANII no incluye beneficios a la seguridad social.

¿Quién debe firmar la carta aval?

Los avales deberán estar firmados por el responsable de cada institución, según corresponda. Por ejemplo, en el caso de las facultades, los avales deberán estar firmados por los decanos.

¿Quiénes deben presentar CVUy?

Los integrantes de la propuesta bajo los roles responsable de grupo de investigación y co-responsable del grupo de investigación (en caso de existir este rol en la postulación). Para el caso del candidato a becario posdoctoral se sugiere la presentación de su CV en formato CVUy pero se admite la presentación del Curriculum Vitae en un formato diferente, el cual deberá adjuntarse a la postulación.

¿Cuáles son los datos mínimos obligatorios a completar en el CVUy?

- Datos Generales: Datos personales (incluyendo el campo relacionado a la ascendencia), Dirección personal, Institución principal, Área de actuación (al menos un área ingresada)

- Formación, se debe tener al menos una formación en marcha o concluida

¿ Which are the requirements for the scholar?

- For the purposes of the application, the role of the scholar must met the following requirements:

- Must be Uruguayan or foreign scientists keen to carry out postdoctoral studies at a national institution undertaking research activities in the country.

- Except in duly justified cases, should not carry out the postdoctoral studies within the same research group in which the Doctorate was obtained.

- Must have been residing abroad for at least 3 years. Residing in Uruguay for less than 12 months after having resided abroad for at least 3 years will be accepted. This 12-month period ends with the application deadline of the call for proposals.

- Must have obtained their Doctoral Degrees within a period not exceeding six (6) years prior to the date of the Call for Applications. Candidates may meet this requirement by October 2021.

- Must submit a Letter of Application

- Present an original Work Plan (Statement of Research) containing all the required information in the form provided by ANII for that purpose. This will be submitted by the Responsible of the Research Group in the application form. Teaching activities to be performed during the fellowship period, as well as any activity to be performed in companies or technological centres (please attach a letter of endorsement for these activities), are all positive elements in the evaluation of the proposal

- The Work Plan must include as an achievement at least one of the following: an article, accepted for publication or already published in database journals such as ISI, SCOPUS, or similar; a pending patent; a book or book chapters. The type of achievement, of course, depends on the relevant area to be devoloped

- Must submit a Curriculum Vitae or resume, preferably already submitted to the Sistema CVUy, and three letters of recommendation

- Must clearly prove that their academic and/or professional career justify the program for which they are applying

- Must devote at least forty (40) hours per week to the activity funded by ANII, and they are not allowed to accumulate more than sixty (60) hours per week carrying out any other activity. This does not prevent the fellow to undertake other research activities (funded or not by ANII) provided that he/she respects the limit on the amount of hours and, for projects funded by ANII, the limit on the amount of wages

- Could perform activities included in the Work Plan out of the country for a period not exceeding 25% of the total duration of the fellowship

- Must not have been previously disqualified by a Board Resolution due to failure to comply with any other Program offered by ANII.
